Walmart has almond milk. That is where I get mine....60 calories for a serving. Thank you! Damn, no wonder I never knew that, I never go to walmart. *stomps foot* Gonna have to make a trip.

Hey now, DA! LOL Nurse M says Walmart sells it

^DeviousAmaris^ --- 178 days ago -

Ok, I have got to stop playing around, it's workout time. Y'all make me procrastinate. :P

Nurse_Misty --- 178 days ago -

The brand is called Almond Breeze....they have original and vanilla...I get original.

Susie Homemaker☆ --- 178 days ago -

Thanks, DA! I think I might try making my own, too.

dbal --- 178 days ago -

Chocolate rice cakes with peanut butter on them - sometimes with banana on top

.kk. --- 178 days ago -

Chocolate rice cakes with peanut butter Yum. I like to use the caramel ones too.

Jules --- 178 days ago -

CL Commissary has almond milk. It's next to the rice milk, top shelf across from regular milk.

And did you try it yet? I actually tried tuna out of the fresh pouch. Just poured it into a bowl, sprinkled some lemon juice on top with a dash of salt/pepper and it was AMAZINGLY good!

Jules --- 178 days ago -

No, I am letting it get cold. I can't drink warm anything unless it's hot tea or hot chocolate.

Jules --- 177 days ago -

I didn't care that much for the rice milk, but could use it on cereal. The almond milk was really good! I think I will use that with the Carnation Breakfast and just to drink!

I guess I'll have to pick up some almond milk. Thanks for being our guinea pig!

Muse Heather --- 177 days ago -

If you like almond milk, you should also try quinoa milk. So so SOOO good in coffee.

Susie Homemaker☆ --- 177 days ago -

quinoa milk I didn't know this was a kind of milk. I looove quinoa, I made a dish last week with it. Yummy.

I'm not going through 3 pages, so sorry it it was mentioned. Fiber One bars are really good. The cereal is good as well for breakfast. I would take the Liv-Active cheddar cheese snack sticks and put it on triscuits as well.

Ophelia ♥ --- 177 days ago -

Raw almonds (or whatever nut you like), dried fruit, pretzels, homemade granola, applesauce...you can always jazz up fruits and veggies - carrots and ranch, apples and peanut butter, celery and cream cheese.

Hummus! We went to Panera bread last night and the sandwhich I wanted had garlic hummus on it- LOVED it. Later last night we ended up at Walmart and I grabbed some garlic, roasted red pepper and 3 pepper hummus. I'm in love. Yep. LOVE.

~*Jolene*~ --- 176 days ago -

WHat section would hummus be in? Ive never heard of it but Id like to try it.

Jules --- 176 days ago -

At the commissary Hummus is on an end aisle across from the bakery/sushi. At Walmart...jeeez I can't remember. I THINK it's in the deli section where the premade pizzas, salsas, sammiches are. Like when you first walk into old WM at the grocery door, make an immediate right and it's in the section before you hit the deli on the right.

dbal --- 176 days ago -

Hummus is also incredibly easy to make =)

~*Jolene*~ --- 176 days ago -

Thanks Jules :) Im in NY but all Walmarts are pretty much the same so Ill look in the deli. If not Ill just ask .

Nay-Nay --- 176 days ago -

I love almond milk with frosted flakes!!!

Jules --- 176 days ago -

I have no clue what quinoa is but I bought a Kashi microwave dinner that has it - The Mayan Bake - has the above and plantains.

Nay-Nay --- 176 days ago -

I love kashi's pizzas. Don't know if they're still doing it, but on their website they will have coupons for a free entree from time to time.

Jules --- 176 days ago -

Their Mediterranean pizza is amazing! I tried to recreate it but it's not near as good!

I'm only on the first page but wanted to comment before I forget. Wasa crackers are good, some taste better than others and they are very low in calories. The fiber ones are bland but the healthiest so if I'm using a high flavor dip (like brushetta) I use them because I just need crunch with my dip and the dip adds the flavor. Light laughing cow cheese is cheaper on bulk at Costco and I think Sams too. It is also good on wasa crackers and my husband uses it on his wraps to replace both mayo and cheese. I only like SOME hummus so if you don't like what you try don't be afraid to try a different kind. Milk-growing up my family used 2% and I switched myself to 1% when I lived there. It was just a little different for a few days then it was great. Well my husband would only use skim and it got annoying buying 2 kinds so started using skim, just a small adjustment at first. Now I love how crisp it tasted and even 2% is disgusting to me now, way too thick I recommend stepping down one kind at a time

Yes fiber one bars are soooo good and tons of flavors. It will really fill you up bit don't eat too many a day, the fiber can cause gas. The 100 calorie packs are a rip off. Great for portion control but make your own if. you have time. Take baggies and make each one 1 serving (typically it might be more than 100 cals, maybe 130 or 150) or calculate how much would be around 100 cals. Either way you will have a portion controlled bag you can grab on the run. We reuse the bags to save on waste I love our digital scale! Makes life so much easier especially since I can use my own bowl or plate. For cereal I put my bowl on, 0 it, pour cereal til I get the number I need, 0, pour milk. Faster and cleaner than measuring cups plus more accurate.

Jules --- 176 days ago -

A lot of the 100 calorie packs are filled with sugar and fat too, so they aren't REALLY healthy.

Someone --- 176 days ago -

Nope not a *healthy* snack just a better alternative to eating 1/2 box of that food when you want a not healthy snack. Everything on moderation and the 100 calorie packs are great for someone on the run or no motivation to only eat a serving, but bagging them up yourself is so much cheaper. That being said I love the cookie packs. I like them better than the full sized version but don't buy them because i don't need cookies or to waste that much money
